As the sun peeks over the Chicago skyline, I’m already up and preparing for another action-packed day with All Temp Heating & Air Conditioning. My name’s Mike, and I’ve been an HVAC technician with this amazing company for five years now. Today’s schedule looks packed with service calls across the Chicagoland area.
7:00 AM: First Stop – Bolingbrook
My first appointment is in Bolingbrook, where a family’s air conditioning unit decided to give up just as summer’s heat is ramping up. I arrive on time, greet the homeowners, and get to work diagnosing the issue. It turns out to be a faulty compressor, which I’m able to replace efficiently.
10:30 AM: Heading to Skokie
Next up is a routine maintenance call in Skokie. Regular check-ups are crucial for keeping HVAC systems running smoothly, and this client has been diligent about scheduling them. I clean the filters, check refrigerant levels, and ensure everything’s in top shape.
1:00 PM: Lunch Break in Evanston
I grab a quick bite in Evanston before my afternoon appointments. It’s a beautiful day, and I take a moment to appreciate the lake breeze before getting back on the road.
2:00 PM: Emergency Call in Lincolnwood
An urgent call comes in from Lincolnwood – a restaurant’s air conditioning has failed during the lunch rush. I hurry over and work quickly to identify and fix the problem, much to the relief of the sweltering staff and patrons.
4:30 PM: New Installation in Morton Grove
My final stop of the day is in Morton Grove, where I’m assisting with a new HVAC system installation. It’s always exciting to set up a brand-new, energy-efficient system for our customers.
Wrapping Up: The Satisfaction of a Job Well Done
As I head back to headquarters in Chicago, I reflect on the day’s work.
